The top Rhone wines of the 1994 vintage are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided. The Northern and Southern Rhone vintages of 1982 through 1994 are also rated, with recommendations given on whether to drink or hold.

Riesling ice wines from Ontario, Canada, proved to be the finest in a blind tasting of 54 ice wines from US and Canadian vintners. The rest of the wines, which sell for $20-30 per half-bottle, were only 'good or average.'
