Profits are down for Bordeaux vintners, but this did not stop them from enjoying a lavish party that included serving 1945 Mouton to 200 guests. Wine prices are down and continuing to fall. The least expensive Bordeaux wines are the most popular.

New Bordeaux wine draws from 90-year-old vines

Article Abstract:

Chateau Faizeau in the Montagne St.-Emilion appellation is planning to market a $13 bottle of Bordeaux made from vines that were planted 90 years ago. The wine is a 1990 Chateau Faizeau Vieilles Vignes.
