On your own time in St. Louis

Article Abstract:

Visitors to St. Louis, MO will find many attractions from restaurants and shops to museums and monuments. The city's monument, the St. Louis Gateway Arch should not be missed. It is within walking distance from the downtown area and gives a good view of the city's layout. The Union Station complex and three other large malls offer shopping opportunities. Italian and German specialties can be experienced in the restaurants of the city's Italian and German neighborhoods. Another attraction is the Forest Park, site of the 1904 World Fair, the St. Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Art Museum, Science Center and History Museum.

The savoring account

Article Abstract:

A retired man and his new bride vowed when wed to savor the good things in life together, especially food and wine. Their enthusiasm led to the formation of a club that meets once a month to enjoy good food and wine together in the host's home. Each attendee pays $8 for the occasion, and leftover monies will eventually go to pay for a fine dinner out.
