Salt is an important seasoning. Sea salt is an excellent form of salt for cooking. Sea salt is processed differently than mined salt and is thought to have more minerals than mined salt. There are different varieties and methods of processing sea salt that affect price and quality.

Beluga caviar, which comes from the Caspian Sea, and can be found in a variety of colors. It is extremely expensive, costing from $600 to $1,000 per pound, but it is definitely worth trying. Various types of caviar are discussed, along with accompanying wines.
