Collectibles: Belleek china

Article Abstract:

Porcelain china produced by the Irish firm Belleek Pottery is valued for its delicacy, iridescence and interesting shapes. John Caldwell Bloomfield founded the firm in 1857 and began using white clay containing feldspar in the china in 1863. All Belleek china is stamped with a special Irish trademark.

Collectibles: Fire-King glass

Article Abstract:

Garry and Dale Kilgo have been collecting Fire-King depression-era glassware since 1985 and now have over 15,000 pieces. They have written a guide to the glassware and are planning to put out a newsletter for collectors. Fire-King was manufactured by Anchor Hocking Glass Corp.
