New England: a vineyard sampler

Wine has been produced in southern New England since Colonial days, but the industry really became viable in the 1970s and 1980s. There are now scores of excellent, small wineries in the region including Stonington Vineyards, DiGrazia Vineyards and Sakonnet Vineyards.
