IBM's popular Personal Computer is propelling the company into an intensive marketing effort that is estimated to result in control of half the market within two years. IBM is also expected to introduce a personal computer to compete with Apple's LISA. Other future developments will be a hand-held personal computer, PCs with light pen and local area networks.
