The High Museum of Art in Atlanta will exhibit illustrations by artists Norman which appeared in "The Saturday Evening Post" magazine. A new book by Maureen Hart Hennessey and Anne Knutson, "Norman Rockwell: Pictures for the American People" will be published soon. His works are compared to European artists such as Vermeer. They reveal why Rockwell's democratic history paintings are still so appealing.
