Blasts from the past: thanks to the Bush administration, big coal is back. But can it be taught to behave?

Article Abstract:

Pres Bush advocated the use of coal to generate power shortly after he took office, despite the international Kyoto treaty, and the environmental damage that coal causes. Executives at coal companies defend the industry's mountain-top-removal mining method and try to ignore the large amounts of carbon dioxide produced by coal-powered energy plants.

Article Abstract:

In 1944, Fred Kelly was in England in the Army, and was brought to Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower by some of his men. Kelly, who was a dance teacher, was asked to teach the general to dance.
