Article Abstract:

The executive order signed by U.S. president, George W. Bush, in 2002 establishes the 'Presidents New Freedom Commission on Mental Health', which is an effort to study the U.S. mental health system and to recommend improvements. The British Medical Journals website states that the Bush family and the pharmaceutical ties has led to the New Freedom plan which is a strategy to increase the drug profits.

Nanotechnology is used in new super-strong materials, medical treatments, and it is poised to usher in a revolution as massive as the computer age. However a growing number of studies suggest that they could have troubling effects on human and environmental health due to their ultra-small size.
