C-SPAN: where TV has never gone before

The Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network (C-SPAN) is a public-affairs channel which gives its viewers an opportunity not only to watch the law-making process, but to participate in it, as well. Congressional proceedings and debates of presidential candidates are broadcast world-wide via satellite.

These teens know how to say no

Article Abstract:

A group called Best Friends promotes sexual abstinence among teenage girls. Launched in 1987 by Elayne Bennett, it asks older women to guide girls through their teenage years, particularly in the decision to postpone sex. Lessons on friendship as well as nutrition and fitness are also offered.
