Cell block: proposed limits on stem-cell research and bans on cloning cut off something else too: hope

Article Abstract:

Pres Bush's decision to limit stem-cell research to cells already harvested and projects underway will hamper medical research for such chronic conditions as AIDS, HIV, Parkinson's disease and diabetes. That decision, and the one to no longer finance cloning projects, are backward in a nation that prides itself on progress.
