Changing for happiness: How much faith can a "fortune baby" put in the power of good intentions?

Article Abstract:

The power of good intentions, which is a practice of the Nichiren Buddhism, is discussed. The followers of Nichiren Buddhists believe that happiness can be achieved by embracing their earthly desires and maintaining the list of the desires of their loved ones and the world, which will help them in forming a direct relationship with their life condition and rhythm of life, thus enhancing their purest intentions with universal assistance.

Transcending the quarterlife crisis

Article Abstract:

The quarterlife crisis, a term referring to the emotional upheaval experienced by many at the age of 20s, has transformed into a bona fide social trend. A societal shift since 1954 has led to a new generation of young people who are delaying the traditional rites of passage into adulthood and hence people in the age group of 20-30 are experiencing a discomforting sense of instability, leading to a quarterlife crisis.

Life after death: E-mailing from beyond

Article Abstract:

Two new companies, lastwishes.com and mylastemail.com, can e-mail stored messages, videos, and photographs to a user's friends and family in the unfortunate event of his or her death. The Web sites would release messages only after verifying the demise with a death certificate and after the passage of an agreed-upon period of time without account activity.
