Article Abstract:

A house in Sharon, New Hampshire, which was often visited by Albert Einstein when his friend and famous astronomer Harlow T. Shapley owned it, is being offered for sale for $ 975,000. The two floor house consists of three big ,airy bedrooms on the second floor with a huge eat-in kitchen, butler's pantry , a big room with fireplace , a one-bedroom apartment while the outbuilding consists of a winterized barn, icehouse and garden shed with lots of perennials and vegetable gardens , thick trees and a natural spring.

Jewel of the harbor

Article Abstract:

Sandy Rowse, the present owner of The Knowlton House, named for the original owner who had built it in 1888 and was called the 'Jewel of the Harbor' due to its commanding view and prominence in the past is put on for sale. After Sandy purchased the house in 1995 she restored the inside of the house to its original Victorian glory, with its mahogany paneling, original chandeliers, medallions, and windows.
