Fish tales

Article Abstract:

An old, battered, plain-colored tackle box can elicit nostalgic feelings about fishing. It is a potent reminder of long-gone days spent fishing with a loved one. Even its smell, which can be a combination of old bait, lure shellac and pork rind, can bring back sweet memories to the surface.

Just treading water

Article Abstract:

The US Dept. of Veterans Affairs is severely underfunded. It does not have enough money to provide health care for veterans or for new construction, much less to repair and maintain its old buildings.
