Aircrafts contributes to global warming as its pollution affects the climate by exhaustion of nitrogen oxide and jet fumes that contain greenhouse gases and deplete ozone layer. Three Web-friendly organizations namely, American Forests, Future Forests, and Better World offers ways to help balance the greenhouse emissions from the air travel.

Various, striking portraits reflect the extremes of manual tasks performed by laborers in developing countries. Salgado made this an international project and created a 250-image exhibit titled 'Workers: An Archeology of the Industrial Age.'
