Fresh maimed babies: media and the uses of innocence

Article Abstract:

The use of children to strengthen the emotive effect of propaganda is just about as vile as the vile things done to children in troubled areas of the world. The images of innocence violated flashed on television screens evoke a response from the viewer no other images of human rights violations can. The response measures the power to do right and sometimes it is just right.
