Friendly blooms

Article Abstract:

Flowers are one of the most pesticide-intensive crops in the world, that are also found to cause health and environmental problems among flower workers in Ecuador and Colombia. Take a cotton to organic

Article Abstract:

Several pounds of pesticides, defoliants, and other chemicals are used to grow the cotton used in bed and bath linens which are then treated with toxic dyes and finishes to produce brightly colored fabrics. Organic cotton bedding and apparel processed without contaminating chemicals and printed with low-impact dyes are becoming increasingly popular as people seek out alternatives to pure cotton.
