The easy availability of drugs such as Ritalin and various antidepressants, the vanity and impatience of parents, and managed care/HMO programs' refusal to fund family therapy, puts millions of kids on psychotropic prescriptions - and stigmatized by their peers - inappropriately and unfairly.
