Four stories of unusual and admirable courage, kindness and decency are recounted. They are those of basketball player Tracy MacLeod, a dog named Sol which cheers up elderly patients in hospitals, lupus victim Andrea Ou-Hingwan and the Heppner family, who rescued a drowning boy.
