Like father, like son: Lamont Wilder spent the first 21 years of his life adrift in the foster-care system. Now, he struggles to keep his son, Sheemie, from the same fate

Article Abstract:

Lamont Wilder hopes for a better life for his five-year-old son than the life he had growing up in foster homes. The tension between Wilder and the mother of his son made it such that both ended up homeless, leaving their son caught between the two of them and without much hope for a good life.
