Making body art: piercing and tattoing are gaining more mainstream acceptance

The practice of body art, which includes piercing, tattoing and scarification, is becoming common in present modern societies. This fad is observed to have been started by the publication of the book titled 'Modern Primitives: Tattooing, Piercing, Scarification.'
