Giant waves have crashed inland off the coast of Maine, dragging people to their deaths and injuring others. These towering so-called rogue waves also materialize at sea. Several episodes involving the deadly waves on on land and sea are recounted. They can reach heights of 50 ft or more.

A woman who sought to repay a kindness bestowed upon her by a couple years ago in a state park in southern Vermont was disappointed when she was unable to find them. She was able though to pass that kindness on when she helped another couple that had locked their keys in their trunk.

A bad case of the Februaries

Article Abstract:

Jack and Laura, next door neighbors and good friends, try to cure a case of the February doldrums by going out for a doughnut. The ensuing difficulty finding a parking spot in front of the doughnut shop causes a friendly spat, much to the amusement of the shop customers.
