Article Abstract:

The events which occurred at the 81st National Convention of the American Legion in Anaheim, CA, in 1999 are presented. Issues include parade reports, convention speakers and highlights, the adoption of 62 resolutions, elected leadership for 1999-2000 and awards for service.

Article Abstract:

The American Legion Yacht Club was established in 1966 and was able to increase its membership to more than 1,800 in 1999. Among the sponsored events of the club are the annual 'Old Glory Boat Parade' and the 'Sail for the Visually Impaired.'
