My holiday on ice

An account is presented of the first Ice Hotel, located in Quebec City, Canada. Construction began in November 2000 and was completed within 6 weeks and the hotel attracted 40,000 visitors in its first season. The hotel stands for 3 months and is bulldozed each Spring.
