My most embarrassing play: mistakes happen even to the best players in the game

Several professional athletes describe their most embarrassing moments while playing their sport. Major league outfielder Larry Walker, for example, gave a ball he had just caught away to a boy in the stands, thinking it was the last out. Realizing it was only the 2nd out, Walker took the ball back.

Up, up and away: alone at 22,000 feet, Steve Fossett sets out to sail around the world

Article Abstract:

Balloonist Steve Fossett hopes to be the first person to fly solo around the world in a balloon. It is his third attempt to set the record. He will fly in a Roziere balloon, which is a helium balloon set at the top of a hot-air balloon, and will carry oxygen tanks and a heater.
