Newly signed VA health-care package funds research for severely wounded

Article Abstract:

President Bush signed the Veterans Health Improvement Act of 2004 into law on November 30, 2004 and it designates $15 million over the next two years to establish VA multi-trauma centers. The VA medical facilities will expertise in amputation rehabilitation, spinal cord, brain injury and treatment of blindness and the other aspects of veteransE health care.

Northern exposure: Unstable Canada border continues to invite terrorists seeking illegal U.S. entry

The unstable Canadian border poses a danger as it continues to invite many terrorists looking for an illegal entry into the US. The remedy measures taken by the US government in preventing the terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and Hamas are discussed.

Judicial battles continue on behalf of the Boy Scouts of America to prevent openly homosexual men from serving as Scout Masters. The battles come despite the US Supreme Court's verdict in 2000 supporting the Boy Scouts' approach.
