No life for a child: the small slaves to Pakistan's carpet trade cry for help

Article Abstract:

The Pakistani carpet industry employs between half a million and one million children as full-time weavers. These children work long hours, eat insufficiently and are physically violated for mistakes. These abusive practices observed in carpet shops are also common in other industries.
