Rescue from the sky

Article Abstract:

The daunting rescue of the crew of the tugboat 'Godinn' by US Air Force helicopters is described. The tugboat capsized after being hit by a gigantic wave off the eastern coast of Iceland in bad weather. The pilots and helicopter crew would later be given medals for their bravery in pulling off such a heroic feat.

Residents and visitors to Portland, ME, can purchase distinctive Italian sandwiches named for their inventor, Giovanni Amato. A chain named Amato's Italian Sandwich Shops make excellent sandwiches containing thin slices of ham, cheese, onions, pickles, olives, tomatoes and peppers.
