Canadian anthropologist Birute Galdikas dedicates her life to the fight to save orangutans from extinction. In her forest reserve base in Borneo, Indonesia, Galdikas conducts studies and observations. She also holds educational tours for the general public on the importance of preserving orangutans and the rain forests where they live.
