Senate vote close in fight for a flag amendment
Article Abstract:
The US Supreme Court had passed a decision holding flag desecration to be 'protected speech', which was disputed by the Congress by passing the Flag Protection Act of 1989. The Congress could retain the flag-protection statute, however, they first have to amend the constitution in order to return them the authority to pass the legislation to protect the flag.

The decision announced by the Secretary of department of Veterans Affair in Las Vegas gave a long-awaited shape to the massive Veteran's Affairs health-care overhaul envisioned by the process known as CARES. As the initiatives of the CARES program would materialize by 2022, a new VA health-care system would be ready to emerge.
