The great gray owl that are found in the islands of Canadian forest is described with reference to their hunting ability, migration, and their body structure. With its 5-foot wingspan, the great gray glides silently from the top of the balsam fir as if sliding down an incline that perfectly connects its perch with the precise location of the sound that caught its attention.
