The Great African Cyberbiking Expedition: These explorers got their riding orders from schoolkids, via the World Wide Web

Article Abstract:

A team of seven American bicyclists and one Ugandan embarked on a trek along the Great Rift Valley in Africa. Each day a report of the day's events were broadcast to 1.6 million school children over the Internet, who voted for the team's next destination along the trek.
