The onslaught of information technology in US is changing the way information is distributed and may jeopardize the newspaper and television business. However, what really concerns analysts are the effects it may have on the poor since this new technology will only be available at a prohibitive cost.

Former National Assn. for the Advancement Colored People (NAACP) Exec. Dir. Rev. Benjamin F. Chavis Jr. has been inviting gay rights activits and street gangs to join the National African American Leadership Summit. Chavis was dismissed from the NAACP due to sexual harassment charges.
