The long goodbye

Treating HIV patients over a prolonged period of time inevitably produces an ongoing dialogue about the remaining time in their lives. One patient always worried about this aspect until she decided to move ahead with her life and seek new opportunities for her and her son. Her goodbye was a positive one.

A women discovers that her friend is so intent on experiencing life because he is HIV positive. Together they take a hot-air-balloon ride, work at a soup kitchen, test-drive a red Porsche and ask a dumb question on a talk show.
