The most enduring memorials

Article Abstract:

Remembrance of America's war veterans should not only be shown through ceremonies on Memorial Day but by ensuring veterans are looked after through the years to come. The American Legion is backing the GI BIll of Health, to ensure affordable hospital care is made available to veterans at VA hospitals. Without adequate funding the VA hospitals will not survive. On Memorial Day, on the 30th May, war veterans are honoured but remembering them in everyday life is more important.
