The nose of love

Article Abstract:

New research indicate that smell can influence a person's choice of the mate. This finding is attributed to the presence of pheromones, which can provides information about an individual's health and sexual desirability. Pheromones are generally produced by glands in the armpits.

The fans of Star Trek has become a diverse group which hardly reflects the stereotypical nerd fan of science fiction television. This diversity also reflects the diversity of a starship crew. Changes in the long-running television series are also discussed.
