The slaughter of Bosnia

Article Abstract:

The slaughter in Bosnia was and is successful through propaganda. Serbian leaders have totally convinced the people that the ethnic genocide is justifiable because they, the Muslims, were at fault. This message, repeated over and over and embellished with unverifiable stories of atrocities as well as old fears and complaints, serve to spur Serbians to more slaughter.

A war at home: a child of the former Yugoslavia refuses to take sides

Article Abstract:

Labelling sides as either victims or oppressors in the Bosnia-Herzegovina war is to do a gross disservice to everyone involved. A historical perspective is needed to unravel the complexity of the issue, yet present realities must also be taken into account to complete the picture. At the very core lies the fear for survival, not vengeance.
