The urban health care dilemma

Article Abstract:

Rising health care costs has meant that many American citizens may not be able to afford quality medical care and much fear that this situation could lead to a lot of social problems and there are calls for wellness programs that will help ease the conditions of these citizens. Clarian CEO, Dan Evans outlines his suggestions for such wellness programs and also discusses the causes of rising health costs.

Legion says no to enrollment fees, co-pay increases

Article Abstract:

National Commander Thomas P. Cadmus, speaking at the 45th annual American Legion Legislative Conference in Washington, strongly rebuked congressional and administration attempts to impose enrollment fees on Veterans Affairs (VA). Rep. Steve Buyer, the new chairman of VA, defended the enrollment fees saying that it would allow the veterans access to a good system.
