VA health care stands at a crossroads in history

Article Abstract:

Veterans' health care is a multi-faceted, fast-changing issue representing one of the biggest budgetary obligations in the US federal government. It is suggested that a mandatory-funding formula, which would match actual dollars to the actual number of veterans in the system, could assure a vibrant health-care system for the future.

Conley: PTF recommendations fall short

Article Abstract:

The President's Task Force to Improve Health Care Delivery for Our Nation's Veterans has published its recommendations. HOwever, according to American Legion National Commander Ronald F. Conley, these recommendations actually fall short of what is required.
