A man recalls how his father used to criticize him severely for even minor transgressions. It was only after he read a letter written by his father prior to enlisting in the Navy did he realized that his father's bitterness and harsh words came from his deep desire to motivate his children to succeed in life.

A second chance

Article Abstract:

A father realizes how much responsibility being a parent entails when his son accidentally falls in between the train and train platform. His experience taught him how one wrong move can do damage to a life that had been entrusted for his care, especially one that matters very much to him.
