The record-breaking physical feats of great athletes like Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Mary Lou Retton and Wilma Rudolph are admired, but the average woman also can build muscles to gain strength and stamina. Simply bike riding to conquer the next hill can bring the joy of being strong.
