Article Abstract:

A district-by-district analysis of the upcoming election for the state of California's Assembly is presented. Aside from the names of all the candidates, the analysis also shows the percentage of voters that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party have garnered in each of the districts. The analysis is capped off by one-liners regarding the chances of either mainstream parties as far as a particular district is concerned.

Article Abstract:

The June 1996 California State Senate primary results are presented by district with a discussion of the November election matchups. Fund-raising, campaign strategies, and the favorable and unfavorable factors affecting candidates are analyzed. The primary vote breakdown by district for both Republican and Democratic candidates is presented.
