CCTV integral part of security system at distribution center

Article Abstract:

Hewlett-Packard Co, which opened a new Deskjet printer distribution center in Memphis, TN, in Feb 1999, decided to use a security system provided by Mosler Inc of Hamilton, OH, to protect its assets. The integrated system is composed of an intercom system, alarm points and alarm monitoring, card access, turnstiles and closed-circuit television cameras. The computerized system operates using the Software House software developed by Sensormatic Electronics of Boca Raton, FL.

Security networking takes on whole new meaning

Article Abstract:

Cisco Systems Inc chose Lenel Systems International's Lenel OnGuard Enterprise System when it decided to upgrade its security and access control system in 1998. The system, which allows Cisco to use both magnetic stripe card and proximity technology as well as support hardware from any source, met the company's three key selection criteria. These include an open architecture, compatibility with Windows NT and system scalability.

Access system fits growing company requirements

Article Abstract:

Group 4 Securitas of Carson, CA, provided the security system used by J.D. Edwards and Co at its new corporate headquarters in Denver, CO. The system, the AMAG 550, is also used by the software company in its other facilities throughout the world. J.D. Edwards picked the enterprise access control system because it is user-friendly and also because the company felt that it is a system that it can grow with.
