Paper vs. plastic

Article Abstract:

The use of plastic bags has generated a concern for its impact on the environment, and policymakers across the U.S. are proposing the outlawing of the bags. But argument from the side of the plastic bag industry says that producing these bags are cheaper and create less landfill waste than paper bags. Details of the issue are discussed.

States are requiring voters to show photo ID

Article Abstract:

Voters in twenty states across the U.S. are required to show their identification cards during elections. Voters in South Carolina and Georgia who do not have photo ID vote on a provisional ballot, which may be challenged or disqualified. A list of states requiring ID at the polls is presented.
