The high cost of health

Article Abstract:

Rising medical care costs, health insurance rates and prescription prices are making it impossible for many Californians to get the health care they need. Dario Frommer, chairman of the California Assembly's Health Committee believes the state's only hope is legislation to cut hospital and prescription costs.

Finding room for California's uninsured requires mandatory, universal coverage

Article Abstract:

Solutions to the problem of the uninsured 6 million Californians are discussed. The solution of universal coverage and universal responsibility is possible and can save the state and the hospital money without creating problems for the employers.
