Home working is becoming increasingly popular among employers and employees alike and it has potential cost benefits for both. BT is one UK company in the vanguard of using teleworkers, who man its Directory Enquiries and Operator services. The benefits of teleworking to employees include reduced travel times, improved work opportunities and flexible hours, while employers save costs on premises, gain increased productivity and have organisational flexibility.

Post-secondary fees and the decision to attend a university or a community college

Article Abstract:

A theoretical model was devised to analyze the effects of college education fees on high school graduates contemplating enrolling in a higher education program at a university. It is noted that the student is influenced by the possibility of getting a diploma and finishing the degree enrolled in. Ordered probit estimates show that own-price effects are negative while cross-price effects are positive.

Age before beauty

Article Abstract:

Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake included six older women in his fall 1995 fashion show. The women ranged in age from 62 to 91, and were chosen from sixty women who had applied for the modeling positions. Miyake believes fashion should be for all ages.
