Manufacturers of closed-circuit TV cameras have introduced new products with more powerful features. Among the new innovations are true digital output technology, new charge coupled device technology and powerful integrated optical zoom lens. Among the latest products are Philips Communication and Systems' G3 Series high resolution color camera, Sony Electronics' SSC-MX34 compact high performance black and white camera and Cohu Electronics' 3800 Series color camera.

Landis & Staefa in the field: Integration and Centralization at the CBOT

Article Abstract:

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) has contracted Landis and Staefa to provide security systems for its expanded trading floor facility. Specifically, the CBOT wanted to incorporate technology in integrating and centralizing the management of current security systems. Among the equipment Landis and Staefa installed were a central console, eight 9-in monitors, two 27-in monitors, a Pegasys workstation, an Intercom Master and two multiplexors.
