Cancer center teams with scientific researchers

Article Abstract:

Scientists at Texas Children's Cancer Center in Houston, TX, have formed a partnership with Incyte Genomics Inc to conduct gene expression studies and determine the role of genes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers commonly affecting children. The Cancer Center is a joint program of Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital. As a result of the partnership, Baylor has been granted access to Incyte's LifeSeq Gold gene sequence database, while Incyte is allowed to use protein expression data from Baylor's high quality biological samples.
