Comparative dynamic analysis of the full Grossman model

Article Abstract:

A method was formulated to undertake a comparative dynamic analysis of the full Grossman model. The method utilizes the concept of Frisch decision functions so as to analyze the effect of endogenous variable change through the process of decomposition. It also provide information involving direct and indirect effects after the occurrence of marginal change in some exogenous variable.

Alternative approaches to valuing intangible health losses: the evidence for multiple sclerosis

Article Abstract:

The marginal utility of income of a state tends to be affected by the occurrence of multiple sclerosis (MS). Utilization of risk-risk and risk-dollar approaches showed that states with MS tend to have lower marginal utility of income than those without it. Also, the difference in marginal utility tends to be smaller in states where MS exist than those where the disease is absent.
